The Holy Bible is the primary text of the U.F.B.L. We interpret the Bible allegorically in order to discover the teachings embedded within the scriptures. We believe the Bible offers nourishment for the soul, and we use its lessons as reminders of our divine origin and purpose. In addition to the Bible, we study the teachings and writings of leading New Thought philosophers and scholars including Charles Fillmore and Dr. H. Emilie Cady.

A. To increase the involvement of men throughout the UFBL in the following areas:

1. U.F.B.L. Ministers/Teachers/Counselors

2. Sunday School Teachers/Youth Workers

3. Men Expressing Christ

4. Prayer Ministry

5. Prison Ministries

6. P.I.P (Partners in Prayer) Men praying together on a regular basis. When men pray together on a regular and consistent basis they are living the lesson that “Strong men pray. The more we pray the stronger we get.”

7. Serving on “Hospital Visitation Teams” – visiting others – particularly other men in the hospitals so that the patients will know that they are not alone and that “somebody cares.”

8. Mentoring Our Youth – particularly males without fathers in the home

9. Fathers’ and Grandfathers’ Clubs –Showcasing Fathers and GrandFathers who are “taking care of business,” and who can show other men how to do the same.

10. UFBL CLASSES FOR MEN ONLY – designed to empower men to deal spiritually with issues that impact their lives

B. To maintain a network of communication designed to share the status and progress of all implemented programs for men throughout the UFBL.
